• Location: York, North Yorkshire

• Role: Farm Veterinary Surgeon

• Salary: Up to £45,000 depending on experience

• Hours: Full-time, 40 hours per week

• Rota: 1 night per week 1 in 5 weekends on call (TOIL provided)

The role

You will join a dedicated farm-only team of 5 vets, managing a varied caseload that includes:

• Predominantly beef and sheep clients

• Dairy work alongside herd health services

• Camelid and export cases for added variety

This is a role where you will have the autonomy to manage your own cases, while still benefiting from strong teamwork, knowledge-sharing and support from experienced colleagues.

About you

• Confident and proactive farm veterinary surgeon (MRCVS)

• Comfortable managing a varied caseload

• Team player with excellent communication skills

• Passionate about livestock health, welfare, and progressive farm vetting
