We are recruiting a Small Animal Veterinary Surgeon to join a supportive and friendly team in Macclesfield, Cheshire. This is a fantastic opportunity in a welcoming, community-focused practice with excellent facilities and a loyal client base.

The Role

• Salary up to £57,000 (DOE) based on a 40-hour week

• Relocation package available

• Flexible rota patterns – full or part time considered

• No OOH or weekends (covered by a nearby hospital)

• Some sole charge required – suitable for vets with experience

• RCVS-accredited, community-driven practice

• 2 consulting rooms and a dedicated operating theatre

• Digital radiography and modern facilities

• Supportive team of long-standing staff: experienced nurses (20 years each), a Clinical Director with 10 years of leadership, and a specialism in animal behaviour

The team are passionate about delivering a high standard of care and take the time for thorough workups and client communication. Staff retention is excellent, with several team members having been part of the practice for over a decade.

Macclesfield offers the best of both worlds – beautiful countryside including Tegg's Nose Country Park and Macclesfield Forest, alongside excellent transport links. London, Birmingham, and Manchester are all accessible by direct train, with central Manchester just 35 minutes away for theatres, nightlife, and culture.
