• Role: Senior Registered Veterinary Nurse (12-month fixed term)

• Salary: Up to £31,000 per annum (DOE)

• Hours: Full-time, 38 hours per week over 4 days (8:30am–7:00pm, 1 hour lunch)

The role

As the sole RVN at the Vale branch, you'll take a leading role in patient care, including:

• Nurse consults, admissions and discharges

• Anaesthesia monitoring and surgical nursing

• In-patient care and recovery

• Building trusted relationships with clients and providing continuity of care

This position would suit an experienced RVN who is confident with sole charge, anaesthesia, and client communication.

About the practice

The branch is a busy, welcoming practice with 1 Vet, 1 Nurse, and a Receptionist, typically carrying out 1–2 operations per day alongside full consults. It has a strong community feel and excellent client relationships, with the reassurance of hospital support for more complex cases.

The wider group consists of three RCVS-accredited sites, including one of the largest first-opinion hospitals in Surrey. You'll benefit from access to high-spec equipment, 24/7 care, and a culture that encourages development through CPD and certificates.

The Vale branch is located in the village of Ash, just 6 miles from the historic market town of Farnham. The area offers beautiful countryside, excellent transport links and plenty of local amenities. London is just over an hour away, and there are great opportunities to enjoy walking, cycling, and exploring the Surrey Hills.
