About the role

This is a unique position within a thriving small animal hospital environment. You will provide emergency and inpatient care overnight, supported by a skilled nursing and clinical team. The rota of 7 nights on, followed by 14 nights off, offers an exceptional work–life balance and plenty of opportunity to make the most of island life.

Key responsibilities include:

• Delivering high-quality emergency care and treatment

• Monitoring and supporting hospitalised patients

• Performing necessary procedures and diagnostics

• Communicating treatment plans effectively with clients

• Collaborating with an experienced veterinary and nursing team

About you

We are seeking a vet who is:

• Confident in emergency and critical care work

• Skilled in diagnosis, treatment planning, and inpatient management

• Calm under pressure and capable of working independently at night

• An excellent communicator with both clients and colleagues

• Passionate about providing outstanding patient care
