We have a fantastic opportunity for a Registered Veterinary Nurse (RVN) to join a friendly, supportive team on the beautiful island of Jersey. This role offers a varied caseload, an excellent work-life balance, and the chance to work in a fully equipped RCVS-accredited veterinary hospital — all just minutes from the beach.

• Location: Jersey, Channel Islands

• Role: Registered Veterinary Nurse (Days)

• Hours: Full-time (average 38 hours/week across a 10-week rota)

• Salary: From £30,000 per annum

• Shift pattern: Mix of wards, lab, and surgery shifts with occasional weekend cover

The role

As a day RVN, you will play a key role across the hospital, including:

• Assisting vets during consults and surgeries

• Monitoring and caring for inpatients

• Running nurse clinics and educating clients

• Supporting diagnostics with in-house lab and imaging facilities

• Ensuring high standards of patient and client care at all times

The rota includes 1 Saturday morning in 10, 1 full weekend in 10 (followed by a 5-day weekend), and 1 Saturday night in 10. Shifts vary between 7am–4pm and 3.30pm–9.30pm.

• RCVS Registered Veterinary Nurse

• Excellent communication and client care skills
