Role: Small Animal Veterinary Surgeon (with OOH)

Hours: Full-time

Salary: Up to £63,000 depending on experience

OOH rota: 1:5, with time off in lieu (day off after weeknight on-call, long weekend after on-call weekend)
About the role
You'll join a friendly, supportive team of vets and highly skilled RVNs who provide excellent patient care and create a positive, collaborative working environment. This is a varied small animal role with a balance of consults, routine surgeries, diagnostics, and emergencies.

Routine 15-minute appointments, with double slots for complex cases

Dedicated catch-up time factored into the diary daily

24/7 RVN support on site to assist with emergencies, inpatient care, and triage

Scope for progression to a Senior Vet or Clinical Director role for those seeking leadership opportunities
About the practice

Purpose-built, single-site practice in Perthshire

6 consulting rooms, 2 theatres, dental suite (with dental x-ray) and imaging suite

Endoscopy, multiparameter monitoring, in-house lab (bloods, urinalysis, cytology)

Visiting specialists in orthopaedic and soft tissue surgery

2 trained VetGDP advisors for mentoring and support
About you
-
MRCVS-qualified with small animal experience
-
Confident in consultations, routine surgeries, and emergency work

Keen to build rapport with clients and provide excellent patient care

Interested in developing clinical or management skills (certificates encouraged and funded)
