Weekends/OOH: 1:4 Saturdays (with Friday off if you work the Saturday), no OOH, no Sundays, no on-call

Salary: £24,750–£26,390 (£28,080–£30,160 FTE), dependent on experience
About the role
You will be joining a supportive, close-knit team of 3 vets, 4 RVNs, 4 client care staff and a practice manager (RVN), all with their own special interests — ranging from ECC and feline nursing to acupuncture and rehabilitation. As the practice continues to grow and with a second site in development, this is an exciting time to join.
Your role will cover the full mix of nursing duties, including:

Nurse consults and clinics

Theatre and anaesthesia monitoring

Prep and ward work

Laboratory duties
The practice is RCVS-accredited, a training practice for vet students and RVNs, and holds Silver ISFM Cat Friendly and Silver Rabbit Friendly status — with Dog Friendly accreditation pending.
Typical working pattern

Monday: Off
-
Tuesday: 8.30am – 6.30pm

Wednesday: 8.30am – 6.30pm

Thursday: 8.30am – 4.30pm
-
Friday (3 in 4): 8.30am – 5.30pm

Saturday (1 in 4): 8.30am – 5.30pm
About you
We are looking for an RVN who:

Has experience running nurse clinics and consults
-
Is confident monitoring anaesthesia and working in theatre
-
Has a proactive, positive approach with excellent client care skills

Enjoys being part of a supportive and progressive team

Salary: £24,750–£26,390 (£28,080–£30,160 FTE) depending on experience

6 weeks' annual leave including bank holidays (pro rata)

£600 CPD allowance per year, with full support for career progression

RCVS and VDS fees paid

Must Haves
- RCVS Registered (or soon to be)
- Possess the right to work in the United Kingdom
