We are recruiting for a Veterinary Surgeon to join an established small animal practice in Kingston Upon Thames, South West London.
This sole charge role is ideal for a confident GP vet who enjoys first opinion practice and would like to lead a settled branch team in a vibrant and historic town. About the role
This is a full-time position based on a 4-day week, including:

1:4 Saturday rota at the branch

1:10 Sunday rota at Stone Lion Hospital

Up to 2 bank holidays per year at Stone Lion Hospital

No on-call requirements
You will be supported by an experienced RVN, a trainee nurse, your regional manager, and the wider team at Stone Lion 24-hour Hospital in Wimbledon for OOH and referrals.

About them
The Kingston practice is located in a charming period building and is fully equipped with dental and digital x-ray. The caseload is well-balanced, making it an excellent opportunity for a GP vet who enjoys a variety of consultations, surgeries, and client relationships.
You will have additional clinical support from a regional head vet, ensuring advice and guidance are available whenever needed.
The practice benefits from its location just a 6-minute walk from Norbiton train station, with central London accessible in under an hour. Richmond Park and the River Thames are also close by, making this a fantastic base for both city and outdoor living.
About you

Qualified Veterinary Surgeon with GP practice experience

Confident in sole charge and routine surgeries

Strong communicator with excellent client care skills

Organised, proactive, and able to balance consults, surgeries, and admin

Positive and collaborative, with a desire to provide excellent clinical care
Package

Salary: £60,000 – £75,000 FTE depending on experience

Holidays: 6.6 weeks annual leave including bank holidays

CPD: £2,000 annual budget plus up to 5 paid CPD days

Memberships: RCVS and VDS fees paid
