We are recruiting for a Senior Veterinary Surgeon to join a well-established practice in Putney, South West London. This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced GP vet to step into a senior role, help shape the future of the practice, and build a strong new team. About the role
This role is offered on a part-time basis, working Mondays, Thursdays, and Fridays (with crossover support on Mondays from your associate vet). The rota includes:

• 1:3 branch Saturday rotation

• 1:10 Sunday rota at Stone Lion Hospital

• 1 bank holiday per year

• No on-call requirements

You will be supported by a dedicated regional manager, regional head vet, and referral/OOH support from Stone Lion Hospital in Wimbledon (15 minutes away).

• OOH: None – covered by Stone Lion Hospital

• Salary: £64,000 – £85,000 FTE depending on experience

Putney is a long-established practice located in a vibrant South West London neighbourhood with a true "village” feel. Just a short walk from the River Thames, Putney High Street, and Putney Station, it combines strong community ties with easy access into central London.

Clients are highly bonded and largely insured, creating opportunities for more advanced case management. If you have an interest in diagnostic imaging and ultrasonography, there is potential to expand facilities in practice.

About you

• Experienced Veterinary Surgeon confident with consultations and routine surgery

• Strong leadership skills or interest in stepping into a senior role

• Proactive and collaborative with excellent communication skills

• Keen to build client relationships and help grow the practice

• Positive and organised, with the ability to guide and support the team

Package

• Salary: £64,000 – £85,000 FTE depending on experience

• Holidays: 6.6 weeks annual leave including bank holidays (pro rata)

• CPD: £2,000 annual budget plus up to 5 paid CPD days (pro rata)
