We are recruiting for a Registered Veterinary Nurse to join a friendly first opinion practice in Putney, South West London.

This is a part-time role of around 20 hours per week, ideal for an RVN who enjoys branch practice life but would like the flexibility of reduced hours. About the role
This part-time RVN role is rota'd to 20 hours per week, including:

• 1:4 Saturday rota at the branch

• 1:20 Sunday rota at Stone Lion Hospital

• 1 bank holiday per year

• No on-call requirements

Additional or full-time hours can be considered across nearby practices if you would like more shifts.

Putney has a true London "village” feel, just a short walk from the River Thames, Putney High Street, and Putney Station. The practice is home to two vets, a senior RVN (currently being recruited for), and a dedicated clinical support team who pride themselves on building strong client relationships.

Feedback from the team highlights the loyalty of the client base, with many insured patients creating excellent opportunities for continuity of care. The branch is fully supported by Stone Lion 24-hour Hospital in Wimbledon for OOH services and referral cases.

About you

• Registered Veterinary Nurse with good general nursing experience

• Comfortable supporting a small branch team

• Organised, proactive, and confident in nurse clinics and patient care

• Strong communication skills and a client-focused approach

• Positive and collaborative, able to support colleagues across all areas of practice

Package

• Salary: £16,000 – £17,500 (£32,000 – £35,000 FTE) depending on experience

• Holidays: 6.6 weeks annual leave including bank holidays (pro rata)

• CPD: Annual CPD budget plus up to 2 paid CPD days
