We are recruiting for a Senior Registered Veterinary Nurse to join a well-established practice in Putney, South West London. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced RVN to step into a senior role, working closely with the lead vet to manage the day-to-day running of the practice. About the role
This is a full-time position of 40 hours per week, inclusive of a 1:4 Saturday rota and 1:10 Sunday rota at Stone Lion Hospital, plus 1 bank holiday per year. A 4-day week rota can also be considered.
As Senior RVN, your responsibilities will include diary management, equipment maintenance, and ensuring smooth daily operations of the practice. You will also work closely with the senior vet to support and engage the wider clinical team.

The Putney practice has a strong community feel, located in a vibrant area just a short walk from the River Thames, Putney High Street, and Putney Station.
The team will include one senior vet, a part-time vet, a part-time RVN, and a supportive client care team. Feedback from staff highlights the excellent and loyal client base in Putney, with many insured patients.
For emergencies and OOH care, the practice is fully supported by Stone Lion Veterinary Hospital, located just 15–30 minutes away.

Registered Veterinary Nurse with strong clinical experience

Confident in taking on senior responsibilities and leading practice operations

Organised, approachable, and motivated to deliver excellent patient care

Strong communicator who enjoys working closely with vets and support staff

Positive and proactive, with an interest in mentoring and team engagement

Salary: £34,000 – £39,000 depending on experience

Holidays: 6.6 weeks annual leave including bank holidays

CPD: Annual budget plus up to 2 paid CPD days

Memberships: RCVS and VDS fees paid
