Veterinary Surgeon – Croydon, London

We are recruiting for a Veterinary Surgeon to join a busy small animal team working across three practices in South London. This is an excellent opportunity for a confident GP vet who enjoys variety in their working week while still having a consistent and supportive rota.

About the role
This role is split across three practices, providing continuity of care for clients and stability for local teams. Your rota will involve:

• Tuesdays at Croydon

• Wednesdays at Caterham

• Thursdays and Fridays at New Addington

Each site has its own strengths, such as ultrasound facilities at Caterham, and you will be supported in all three locations by experienced colleagues.

The rota also includes a branch Saturday rotation, a 1:10 Sunday rotation at the Stone Lion Hospital, and one bank holiday per year.

You will have access to full clinical support from Stone Lion Hospital in Wimbledon for complex referrals and OOH care, as well as guidance from a dedicated regional manager and regional head vet.

This is a sole charge position, so confidence with routine consultations and surgery is essential, though management and clinical support are always available.

About you

• Experienced Veterinary Surgeon comfortable with sole charge work

• Confident in routine GP consultations and surgeries

• Strong communicator who works well with colleagues and clients

• Positive, proactive, and motivated to deliver high-quality patient care

• Keen to further develop clinical or management skills with CPD support

Package

• Salary: £60,000 – £75,000 depending on experience

• Holidays: 6.6 weeks annual leave including bank holidays

• CPD: £2,000 annual budget plus up to 5 paid CPD days

• Memberships: RCVS and VDS fees paid

Must Haves

• RCVS Registered (or soon to be)
