Part-Time Registered Veterinary Nurse – Edgware, London

We are recruiting for a Part-Time Registered Veterinary Nurse to join a busy small animal practice in Edgware, Northwest London. This is a 12-month fixed term contract to cover maternity leave and is a fantastic opportunity for an RVN looking for flexible part-time hours within a supportive first opinion practice.

This position averages 22 hours per week, working across 3 days including Tuesdays, plus a 1:4 Saturday morning rota. There is some flexibility on how the remaining days are arranged to help support work-life balance.

This is a long-established first opinion GP practice serving the Northwest London community. The site is well designed, with a spacious consulting room that opens into a garden area, an open prep space with kennels, and a dedicated theatre.

The practice is supported by a nearby 24-hour hospital, ensuring patients have access to OOH and specialist care when required. You will also have the support of a regional manager and a close-knit team who pride themselves on collaboration and pulling together on challenging days.

Location-wise, the practice is ideally placed — just a 1-minute walk from Canons Park station on the Jubilee Line, providing fast connections across London. On-site parking is also available.

About you

• You are a qualified Registered Veterinary Nurse (RCVS registered)

• You are confident in general nursing and enjoy working as part of a team

• You thrive in a busy environment and are motivated to deliver excellent patient and client care

Package

• Salary: £17,600 – £19,250 per annum (pro rata), equivalent to £32,000 – £35,000 FTE, dependent on experience

• Holidays: 6.6 weeks annual leave including bank holidays (pro rata)

• CPD: Annual CPD budget plus up to 2 paid CPD days

• Memberships: RCVS and VDS fees paid
