Permanent Veterinary Surgeon, Loughborough, Leicestershire

We are recruiting for a Permanent experienced Small Animal Veterinary Surgeon to join a practice in Loughborough, Leicestershire. This is a full time role offering a 4 day working week with a 1:8 weekend rota along with one night on call per week.

• Type: Small Animal Veterinary Surgeon
• Hours Mon-Fri: Full time – 4 day week
• Weekends: 1:8 weekends on call
• Lieu: Time back in lieu after working a weekend
• OOH: None
• Oncall: 1:8 weekends 1 Night per week
• Team: 11 vets 20 Nurses
• Computer System: TBC

The role:

• The role is full time, 4 day week and will involve a 1:8 weekend / on call rota and a 1 night per week on call.
• The role is 1 ^st opinion small animal hospital with a mixture of consultations and surgeries. They are able to offer a varied caseload that will support clinical development. They deal with small animal and exotic cases.
• The role can support an experienced Vet or a newly graduated Vet due to the level of experience available.
• The Vet will be responsible for communicating with clients with regards to updates on their pets health.
• The role offers ongoing development benefits with support and funding available for certificates.
• The Vet will be responsible for providing a high level of Veterinary Care to patients.

About You:

• You will be a qualified veterinary surgeon with a desire to work with a forward-thinking veterinary practice. You must have a real passion for the industry and strive to provide the highest standards of care. Excellent customer service skills are also essential.
• The Vet will be a team player with excellent communications skills and be able to establish good working relationships with both clients and the fellow colleagues.

Package:

• Salary: Up to £60,000 per annum, commensurate to experience

Must Haves

RCVS Registered (or soon to be)
