Locum Veterinary Surgeon – Ware, Hertfordshire

We are recruiting on behalf of a small animal practice in Ware, Hertfordshire for a Locum Veterinary Surgeon to provide cover from the 15th September until the 4th October. There will be no OOH work or on-call duties. Shared accommodation can be provided.

  • Hours: Part time – Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays 9am – 6pm
  • Weekends: None
  • OOH: None
  • Sole charge: None
  • Duties: Surgeries and consultations
  • Branch work: N/A
  • Accommodation: None
  • Consultations: 15 minutes
  • Daily rate: £300 to £450 per day, depending on experience and payment vehicle
  • Payment options: Umbrella, sole trader

Must haves:

  • RCVS registered and qualified or soon to be
  • Possess the right to work in the United Kingdom
  • Have excellent verbal and written communication skills

Amazing experience

New Grad Experience

Both Abby and Adam were fantastic, quick to respond and also really took into account what exactly I was looking for. As soon as I’d mentioned to Abby I was interested in the charity/not-for-profit sector she quickly compiled a list of practices that might interest me. In doing that Abby introduced me to a company that I would quite literally describe as my dream job, and after some interviews (wonderfully set up by both Abby and Adam through the process) landed that job. As a new grad trying to find your first job can be really stressful but I felt at ease working with Vet Seekers as they took care of all the hard bits and all I had to do was talk about what I loved. Great experience overall
