Permanent Night Veterinary Surgeon – Bridgwater, Somerset

We are looking for a Permanent Night Veterinary Surgeon to join a small animal hospital in Bridgwater, Somerset on weekends only. This role is part time for weekends only with shifts from 7pm to 8:30am. The rota will be 2 weekends on and 2 weekends off. The weekend shifts will be on Friday nights and Saturday nights. There will be no on-call duties.

• Type: Small animal
• Hours: Part time, weekends only, shifts from 7pm to 8:30am
• Weekends: 2 weekends on and then 2 off
• OOH: None
• Sole charge: None
• Team: Large team of vets and nurses of all experience levels

About you:

• Passion for emergency and OOH clinical work
• Strong ECC clinical skills, knowledge and experience
• ECC qualifications
• Strong organisation and planning skills and experience
• Strong team management skills and experience
• Strong communication skills

Package:

• Salary: Up to £70,000 pro rata, commensurate to experience
• Holiday: 6.6 weeks annual leave, including bank holidays pro rata
• CPD: Generous allowance of £1,750
• Memberships: RCVS and VDS fees paid
• Employer pension contribution
• Cycle to work scheme

Must Haves

• RCVS Registered (or soon to be)
• Possess the right to work in the United Kingdom
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
