Permanent Senior Veterinary Surgeon – Loughton, Essex

We are recruiting on behalf of a practice in Loughton for a Permanent Senior Veterinary Surgeon to join their team.

The ideal candidate must have good experience gained in a small animal practice, excellent communication skills in order to inform and support clients, competence in routine surgeries and the ability to create evidence-based treatment plans. You must be personable and passionate about keeping up to date with your own professional development. You will have the confidence to work sole charge as this will be required on occasion. The practice has a high surgical caseload so an interest in this area would be advantageous.

The position is full time for 40 hours per week over 4 days, along with 1 in 3 weekends. There will be no OOH work or on-call duties.

• You will have excellent interpersonal and communication skills and the ability to develop a great rapport with both clients and staff

• Ambition to pursue an area of special interest would be supported
