Registered Veterinary Nurse – Durham, County Durham

We're recruiting on behalf of a respected independent veterinary practice seeking a proactive and compassionate RVN to join their experienced team. This well-equipped, forward-thinking practice offers a stimulating and supportive environment with a diverse caseload that includes small animals, exotics, wildlife, and poultry.

The practice features modern diagnostic and surgical equipment such as digital dental X-ray, ultrasound, ventilator, electrocautery, multi-parameter monitors, in-house lab analyzers, and rigid endoscopy. Purpose-built wards are designed specifically for dogs, cats, and exotic species, ensuring comfort and safety for all patients.

Nurses enjoy a structured rota with dedicated Schedule 3 procedure days and tailored support to advance clinical skills. Career progression is a priority, with fully funded CPD, including certificates and specialist training in your area of interest.

You'll be involved in all core nursing duties: theatre work, consults, and inpatient care. The full-time rota is a 4-day week (8:30am–6:15pm) with 1 in 4 Saturdays and no out-of-hours or on-call.

Must haves:

• RCVS Registered & Qualified or soon to be.
• Possess the right to work in the United Kingdom.
