Permanent OOH Veterinary Surgeon – Bridgwater, Somerset

We are recruiting on behalf of a leading RCVS-accredited Small Animal Hospital based in the historic market town of Bridgwater. This well-established, highly respected hospital is seeking an enthusiastic and experienced ECC Night Vet to join their dedicated Out of Hours team for weekend and holiday cover.

This Centre of Excellence is renowned for its high clinical standards and supportive, collaborative team ethos. You'll be working alongside a dedicated night nurse, twilight phone triage nurse, twilight ACA, and occasionally an additional twilight vet. The hospital is ideally located with easy access to the coast, the vibrant city of Bristol, and the iconic Glastonbury.

What They're Looking For:

• A passionate and committed ECC Night Vet

• A team player with excellent clinical and communication skills

• Experience in emergency and critical care preferred

• Confident working sole charge overnight

About the Role:

• Permanent weekend OOH position

• Friday and Saturday nights, 7:00pm–8:30am (2 nights)

• Two weekends on, two weekends off

• Additional night shifts available for holiday cover if desired

• Flexible rota available for the right candidate
