Permanent | Small Animal Practice
A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a dedicated Veterinary Surgeon to join a friendly, experienced team in a modern, purpose-built practice delivering high-quality care to pets and their owners.
The Role:
-
Full-time preferred (39 hours over 4 days, 9am–7pm)

Part-time applicants also considered
-
1 in 5 weekend rota (Saturday & Sunday)
-
No out-of-hours work

Occasional flexibility to support local sister practices
About the Practice:
-
Supportive team of 7 vets (including experienced vets and new graduates)

8 qualified nurses, VCAs, and admin support
-
Special interests within the team include orthopaedics, surgery, and imaging

Excellent clinical standards and a positive team culture

Practice Features:

15-minute vaccination appointments
-
30-minute consults for clinical cases
-
Well-equipped with advanced surgical and orthopaedic kits

Mental health first aiders on-site

BVA Good Workplace Guide implemented

PSS-accredited small animal GP practice

Regular clinical meetings
What We're Looking For:
-
RCVS-registered Veterinary Surgeon
-
Minimum 2 years' experience in small animal practice
-
Surgical bias or special interest desirable
-
Strong communication and teamwork skills
-
Passion for animal welfare and client care

Salary up to £60,000 (dependent on experience, FTE)
