Permanent | Small Animal Practice

A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a dedicated Veterinary Surgeon to join a friendly, experienced team in a modern, purpose-built practice delivering high-quality care to pets and their owners.

The Role:

• Full-time preferred (39 hours over 4 days, 9am–7pm)

• Part-time applicants also considered

• 1 in 5 weekend rota (Saturday & Sunday)

• No out-of-hours work

• Occasional flexibility to support local sister practices

About the Practice:

• Supportive team of 7 vets (including experienced vets and new graduates)

• 8 qualified nurses, VCAs, and admin support

• Special interests within the team include orthopaedics, surgery, and imaging

• Excellent clinical standards and a positive team culture

• Partnership opportunities may be available in the future

• Ambitious plans for growth and development

Practice Features:

• 15-minute vaccination appointments

• 30-minute consults for clinical cases

• Well-equipped with advanced surgical and orthopaedic kits

• Mental health first aiders on-site

• BVA Good Workplace Guide implemented

• PSS-accredited small animal GP practice

• Regular clinical meetings

What We're Looking For:

• RCVS-registered Veterinary Surgeon

• Minimum 2 years' experience in small animal practice

• Surgical bias or special interest desirable

• Strong communication and teamwork skills

• Passion for animal welfare and client care
