Permanent Veterinary Surgeon – Portsmouth, Hampshire

Are you a passionate and dedicated Veterinary Surgeon looking to join a friendly and well-organised practice on the South Coast? We are currently working with a fantastic small animal practice seeking a confident and team-oriented Vet to join their growing team.

The Role:

• Busy but well-structured caseload with a focus on maintaining a healthy work-life balance

• 15-minute consults as standard, with longer consults for complex cases or new team members

• Strong collaborative environment – always someone available for a second opinion

• Full-time and part-time applications welcome

• Full-time: 39 hours per week, including 1 in 3 Saturday mornings (9am–12pm)

• Part-time: Ideally 3 days per week, with 1 in 3 Saturday mornings

• Paid overtime and protected admin time

• No out-of-hours (OOH) commitments

• Supportive and flexible team environment

What they are looking For:

• A solid background in general practice

• Excellent communication skills and a team player mindset

• A genuine passion for delivering high-quality veterinary care

• All experience levels considered – support available for less experienced applicants

• Salary up to £70,000 depending on experience
