A mixed animal practice in Greenock are currently recruiting for a Permanent Mixed Veterinary Surgeon to join their large team. This role is full time with weekends on a rota. There will be no OOH work. The role will be split between their two sites, one in Greenock and another in Paisley.

The current team comprises of 18 vets working across 2 practices and in different disciplines. Small animal experience would be preferred as well as large, but not essential as full support/guidance is provided. Their split is approximately 90% small animal and 10% farm and equine.

About them:

A well-established mixed animal veterinary practice in Greenock, West of Glasgow who boast excellent facilities across their 2 sites. These include a fully equipped laboratory with haematology, biochemistry, ultrasound scanner, digital radiography, dental x-ray, endoscope and the latest dental machine.

They are ran by an experienced team of clinical directors and have a variety of staff with differing experience levels. They fully support staff development and encourage all CPD budgets to be used up.

About you:

They are looking for a veterinary surgeon with previous UK experience working in a small animal practice. Previous experience with small animal would be desired but not essential, as the current team is very experienced and able to support. You will need to be passionate, pro active and a confident veterinary surgeon.

Package:

• Salary: £35,000 to £65,000 per annum, commensurate to experience
• Holidays: 6.6 weeks annual leave, including bank holidays
• CPD: Generous allowance of £1,750 with 5 days to attend
