Permanent Night Veterinary Surgeon – Romford, Essex

We are recruiting on behalf of a small animal practice in Romford, Essex for a Permanent Night Veterinary Surgeon. This role is part time for 7 nights on and 14 nights off. The weeknight shifts will be from 8pm to 8:15am and the weekend night shifts will be from 6pm to 9am. There will be no on-call duties.
The role is based with a small animal hospital, and they are looking for a Vet to manage the inpatients. They will be responsible for the plans of all inpatients. There will be only a minimum of consultations.
This is a modern and purpose-built practice which offers a variety of veterinary services and facilities including 2 theatres, endoscopy, laparoscopy unit, ultrasound, digital radiographs and an in-house laboratory. The Vet would be joining a large team of 10 other vets, 6 RVNs, 6 SVNs and reception team.

They are looking for a Vet who will provide a high standard of patient care and someone who can establish and build solid client relationships and contribute towards the growth of the practice. They will be an enthusiastic team player and have great communication skills.

- You will be able to establish good working relationships with clients and be confident in all consultations
- You will contribute to the practice with ideas enabling them to stay at the forefront of clinical thinking whilst also maintaining the ethos of providing a high standard of clinical care to all pets.
- You will have excellent interpersonal and communication skills and the ability to develop a great rapport with both clients and staff.
