We have an opportunity for a Permanent Veterinary Clinical Director to join a small animal practice in Bury St Edmunds. The role is full time for 40 hours per week over 4 days, along with 1 in 10 or 12 weekends on-call and weekday evenings for inpatient duties.
The practice is looking for a vet who has excellent communication skills in order to inform and support clients, competence in routine surgeries and the ability to create evidence-based treatment plans. You must be passionate about keeping up to date with your own professional development.
There is a 1 in 10 or 12 weekends on call rota where you will be the 1st duty vet. This involves working from 8:30am to 5pm on Saturday and 9am to 12pm on Sunday. There will be 1 day off in lieu provided after working a weekend. There is one weekend as the 2nd Vet which involves working 9am to 12pm on a Saturday and being available as back up for the 1st duty Vet if they require an extra pair of hands.

- The role is not determined on years of experience and be catered to suit but ultimately the Vet needs to be ambitious looking to develop your clinical skills and knowledge further
- Areas of special interest would be an advantage
- You will want to be at the forefront of the practice help growing and developing the services and facilities provided.

- You will work well within the team alongside other veterinary specialists and clinicians

Package:
- Salary: £65,000 to £75,000 per annum, commensurate to experience
- Holiday: 6.6 weeks annual leave, including bank holidays

Must haves:
