Permanent Mixed Veterinary Surgeon – Dungannon, County Tyrone

We are recruiting on behalf of a mixed animal practice in Dungannon, Northern Ireland for a Permanent Mixed Veterinary Surgeon to join their team. This role is full time with weekends and OOH shifts on a rota.

This is a mixed animal practice and deals with a wide variety of species and boasts an excellent local reputation. The small animal caseload will be mostly medicine, soft tissue surgery and orthopaedics. The farm animal caseload will be mostly consulting, herd health and fertility management.

They see a wide range of both medical and surgical cases each day so there is something interesting for every vet. They are continuing to invest for their future and regularly bring in new facilities to expand their Veterinary Services.

Duties

• Assisting with other team members and the clinical director when required
• Bring new ideas to the table to promote practice growth and development
• Ensure that there is a harmonious and positive practice culture
• Have an empathetic, compassionate, and positive attitude
• Have excellent organisational skills
• Be able to build up strong client relationships to enable to build client base
• Enjoy working with others as part of a team
• Be kind in challenging situations
• Take responsibility for your day-to-day veterinary cases and delivery a high standard of clinical care

• Team: 13 SA vets with a large team of nurses and supporting staff
• Consultations: 15 minutes
• Accommodation: On site for OOH Vets if required

Package:

• Salary: £40,000 to £55,000 per annum, commensurate to experience
