Permanent Night Veterinary Surgeon – Leeds, West Yorkshire

We are recruiting on behalf of a small animal referral hospital in Leeds for a Permanent Night Veterinary Surgeon to join their team. This role is part time for 7 nights on and 14 nights off with shifts from 8pm to 8am. There will be no OOH work or on-call duties.
This is a purpose built, large and busy 24hr practice with state-of-the-art facilities. They provide OOH cover and additional support to 15 practices across the West Yorkshire region so referral work, ECC work and inpatient care, routine surgeries and consultations are all provided within the hospital. Ongoing clinical and management support is available. The practice is able to provide support for a bias or certificate in ophthalmology, dermatology or surgery. As this is a hospital, you will also see some ECC work.
Duties:
- Oesophageal tube placements
- Seldinger Chest Drain placements
- Silicone Abdominal Peritoneal Drains
- Pig tail urinary catheters
- TFAST AFAST
- Endoscopy
- Negative Pressure Wound Therapy
- Urinary Catheterisation
- Caesareans
- Laparotomy with enterotomy and enterectomy

Package:
- Salary: £55,000 to £60,000 pro rata, commensurate to experience
