Permanent Veterinary Surgeon – Lechlade, Gloucestershire

We are recruiting on behalf of small animal practice in Lechdale, Gloucestershire for a Permanent Veterinary Surgeon. This role is full time for 40 hours per week with shifts between 8:30am and 6:30pm. They close every lunchtime so that all members of the team have a good break and are able to enjoy their lunch. There will be no weekends, OOH work or on-call duties.
Located in the Cotswolds, the practice has plenty to offer with water parks close by and picturesque towns with good transport links to Oxford and Swindon. Both of their branches are surrounded by the countryside and offers plenty of walking and local amenities close by. You will be joining a team of 3 vets, 2 RVNs, 2 SVNs and a practice manager.
They understand the importance of support and they enable all members of their team to develop areas of special interest. The Vets within the practice have an interest in surgery and shortly they will be offering laparoscopic surgeries. Vets who would like to develop areas of interest and skills would be provided training.
The practice is looking for a motivated Vet who has a friendly and positive attitude. The ideal candidate would be comfortable with most medical and surgical work ups. They will have an empathetic attitude and be able to establish good working relationships with clients.

Facilities and services:

Package:
- Salary: £40,000 to £70,000 per annum, commensurate to experience
- Holidays: 6.6 weeks annual leave, including bank holidays

Must haves:
