We are recruiting on behalf of a small animal practice in St Neots, Cambridgeshire for a Locum Lead Veterinary Surgeon to provide maternity leave cover for 12 months on a fixed term basis. This role is full time for 4 days per week. There will be no weekends, OOH work or on-call duties.
They are looking for a Vet who has an extensive level of small animal experience and someone who has excellent client facing skills and can build rapport easily. You will work to a high standard and have the passion and drive required to move the practice forward.
You will be confident in making clinical decisions, be a team player and be happy with working sole charge occasionally. Full support and further training can be provided as you will be supported by the other practices within the region. Further career progression opportunities are available with further post graduate training to a certificate level along with in house training courses and this role offers the sought-after work-life balance as there are no OOH involved. The practice is fully equipped with all the latest technology and the Vet will be involved in a wide variety of interesting cases.

Package:
- Salary: Up to £75,000 pro rata, commensurate to experience
- Holidays: 5 weeks annual leave plus bank holidays pro rata
