Permanent Veterinary Surgeon – Chessington, London

We are recruiting on behalf of a small animal practice in Chessington, London for a Permanent Veterinary Surgeon to join their team, working between the main practice and a nearby branch in Ewell, Surrey.

This role is part time for 2 or 3 days per week. There will be no weekends, OOH work or on-call duties.

The practice comes with all the equipment you would expect within a first opinion site and they are supported by their 24hr animal hospital for the referral of more complex cases.

The role:

• The role will involve sole charge so you must be confident in this area.
• The Vet will be expected to be confident in all routine consultations and surgeries.
• The Vet will be responsible for communicating with clients with regards to updates on their pets health.
• The role offers ongoing development benefits with support and funding available for certificates.
• The Vet will be responsible for providing a high level of veterinary care to patients.
• The Vet will have access to all the necessary equipment within a 1st opinion practice and will also have the support of the hospital for any more complex referral cases.
• Support will be provided by the regional team.

• You will be confident in sole charge, routine consultations and surgery.
• You will have a real passion for the industry and strive to provide the highest standards of care. Excellent customer service skills are also essential.
• The practice can accept applications from various levels of experience.
• You will be a team player with excellent communications skills and be able to establish good working relationships with both clients and the fellow colleagues.

Package:

• Salary: £42,000 to £58,000 pro rata, commensurate to experience
