We are recruiting on behalf of an independent small animal practice in Rugeley, Staffordshire for a Permanent Veterinary Nurse to join their team.
This role is full time for 40 hours per week over 4 or 5 days, along with 1 in 4 Saturdays. There will be no OOH work or on-call duties.

About the role
- Your duties will involve inpatient care, assisting the vets in surgeries, kennels and nurse clinics
- You will play a vital role in promoting preventative health care and educating clients in this area
- This role can support someone who has recently qualified/soon to be qualified or a more experienced RVN
- There is a practice incentive for clinical coach training
- There will be no OOH work as the practice understands the importance of a good work-life balance

- The practice is home to 4 vets, 6 RVNs, 2 SVNs and a supportive non-clinical team
- They offer a wide range of modern veterinary services and diagnostics, including digital x-ray, ultrasound, radiography, digital imaging, chemotherapy, nurse clinics, dentistry, ECG and in-house laboratory
- They promote a supportive and inclusive culture which can be felt within their working environment
- OOH emergencies are referred to a nearby animal hospital

Package
- Salary: £26,000 to £30,000 per annum, commensurate to experience
- Holidays: 4 weeks annual leave plus bank holidays

Must haves:
- RCVS registered and qualified or soon to be
