The Practice
This well-established small animal practice has been RCVS Practice Standards accredited for over 14 years and has built an excellent reputation for delivering high-quality veterinary care while creating a supportive and rewarding working environment for its colleagues. As an approved RVN Training Practice and Silver Cat Friendly accredited practice, the team is committed to clinical excellence, continuous learning and outstanding patient care.
You’ll be joining a highly experienced team of three Veterinary Surgeons, three Registered Veterinary Nurses, a Student Veterinary Nurse, Practice Manager and dedicated Reception team. The practice has excellent staff retention, with members of the nursing team having worked together for many years, creating a genuinely supportive and collaborative atmosphere.
Registered Veterinary Nurses are encouraged to work to their full potential, with a strong focus on anaesthesia, inpatient care and Schedule 3 nursing responsibilities. The practice also benefits from regular support from a visiting Orthopaedic Specialist, providing excellent opportunities to broaden clinical knowledge and experience.

The Location
Located in the Glasgow area, the practice enjoys excellent transport links across the city and surrounding East Dunbartonshire region. The Role
This full-time position involves working between 35 and 40 hours per week together with participation in a shared 1 in 3 full Saturday rota. There are no Sunday or out-of-hours commitments, allowing an excellent work-life balance.
You’ll enjoy a varied nursing role across all aspects of first opinion practice, including anaesthesia, theatre, inpatient care, diagnostics and general nursing duties. Protected lunch breaks and dedicated administration time are built into the diary wherever possible, helping ensure colleagues have time to deliver exceptional patient care while maintaining a manageable workload.
The practice actively supports professional development through generous CPD and encourages Registered Veterinary Nurses to continue developing their clinical skills and interests.
The Candidate
The successful candidate will be a Registered Veterinary Nurse with excellent communication and client care skills together with a genuine passion for delivering outstanding patient care.
