Hours: Full time (40 hours per week)

Salary: £30,000 – £36,000 per annum, depending on experience
The Opportunity
This role is suited to a confident RVN who enjoys leading by example and supporting colleagues to deliver exceptional patient and client care. You will be accountable for the clinical leadership of the nursing team, ensuring regulatory, practice and operational standards are consistently met.
You will work closely with the veterinary team and management to support the smooth day-to-day running of the practice while maintaining a positive and collaborative working environment.
The Role

Provide clinical leadership to the nursing team

Consistently deliver exceptional patient and client care

Support surgeries and procedures, including pre- and post-operative care
-
Carry out nurse-led consultations and Schedule 3 procedures

Deliver patient monitoring and inpatient nursing care

Manage admissions and discharges as directed by the veterinary team

Complete patient transfers to out-of-hours or enhanced care

Dispense and check medications in line with protocols

Ensure compliance with all regulatory, practice and operational standards

Lead team briefings to support effective daily practice operations
What We're Looking For

RCVS Registered Veterinary Nurse

Proven experience delivering high standards of patient and client care

Confident working both independently and as part of a team

Experience supporting nurse-led consultations

Strong coaching, communication and influencing skills

Ability to motivate and develop colleagues
