Registered Veterinary Nurse – Borehamwood, Hertfordshire

Salary £30,000–£36,000 DOE.

The Opportunity

This is a great opportunity for a Registered Veterinary Nurse to join a friendly and supportive small animal team based in Borehamwood, Hertfordshire.

The role offers genuine variety, working across a small cluster of well-equipped practices, while benefiting from strong hospital support nearby. This position would suit an RVN who enjoys flexibility, a varied caseload, and working within a collaborative team environment.

The Role

You will work 39 hours over 4 days per week, ideally including Mondays and Fridays. The role is primarily split between two local practices (two days at each), with occasional cover at a nearby branch.

You'll be involved in all aspects of general practice nursing, including nurse-led clinics, Schedule 3 procedures, inpatient care, and supporting consultations and surgeries. The role includes a mix of early and late shifts, providing balance and variety.

You will also take part in a 1 in 6 weekend rota at a nearby 24-hour hospital, with time off in lieu, alongside shared bank holiday cover.

Location

Based in Borehamwood, Hertfordshire, with additional work across nearby North London locations. The area offers excellent transport links, a strong community feel, and easy access to a nearby 24-hour hospital for advanced support.

Must Haves
