Role: Small Animal Veterinary Surgeon – Permanent

Salary: Up to £60,000 per annum DOE (pro rata)

Hours: Full time (40 hours across 4 days) – part-time considered

Weekends: 1 in 4 Saturdays (two vets on site)

OOH/Sole Charge: None – no OOH, Sundays, Bank Holidays or sole charge
The Role

Diverse caseload covering consultations, imaging, medicine and surgery

Work within a multi-vet team with strong peer support

Share knowledge and collaborate with colleagues in a genuinely team-focused environment

Opportunity to develop areas of clinical interest with certificate support
About the Practice
This is a modern, independent-minded practice with multiple sites in the Bournemouth/Poole area, RCVS-accredited and continually investing in new facilities. The caseload is varied and includes:

Diagnostic imaging and rehabilitation

Exotics
-
Orthopaedics (in-house service)

Access to a CT scanning suite
You'll be joining a supportive, sociable team of vets, RVNs, SVNs and ANAs, backed by excellent support staff. The practice is proud of its workplace culture, recently achieving a 3 "World Class” accreditation by Best Companies * for employee engagement.
Location
Based on the beautiful Dorset coast, this role offers the perfect work-life balance. Bournemouth and Poole boast sandy beaches, watersports, stunning countryside, vibrant nightlife, and excellent shopping and dining. Transport links are strong, with rail access to London, a local airport, and ferries to the continent and Channel Islands.
