We are recruiting on behalf of a forward-thinking, progressive farm animal veterinary practice based in rural Shropshire. This opportunity is ideal for a dedicated and experienced farm animal vet with a passion for delivering high-quality care and building strong client relationships, particularly within the dairy sector.
About the Role:

1 in 10 OOH rota, offering excellent work-life balance

Minimal TB testing thanks to a dedicated and experienced TB team

Routine dairy herd health, reproductive work, and emergency cover

Opportunity to be involved in vet school teaching, farmer training, export services, and sheep/cattle AI & embryo transfer

Strong team ethos with collaboration and support at the heart of the practice culture
What They're Looking For:
-
A confident and proactive farm animal vet with at least 2 years' post-graduate experience
-
Strong foundation in surgical skills and ability to manage cases independently out-of-hours
-
Experience and interest in dairy herd health and cattle reproduction, including ultrasound scanning
-
Excellent communication skills with a desire to build long-term relationships with farmers

Enthusiastic team player who is willing to get stuck in and contribute to a busy, farm-focused environment

Interest in developing professionally through CPD and involvement in wider practice services
