Permanent Veterinary Surgeon – Helston, Cornwall

We are recruiting on behalf of a well-established, RCVS-accredited mixed practice in the historic market town of Helston. With roots dating back to the 1870s, this thriving practice has a long-standing reputation for delivering outstanding veterinary care across Cornwall. Due to continued growth, they are now seeking a dedicated Small Animal Veterinary Surgeon to join their skilled and supportive team.

• Interest in marine life is a bonus – the practice supports the nearby Cornish Seal Sanctuary

• Suitable for experienced vets or confident recent graduates

About the Role:

• Full-time, permanent position

• 4-day working week for a better work-life balance

• 1 in 4 Saturday mornings

• No out-of-hours work

• Varied small animal caseload with opportunities to work with marine wildlife

• Supportive team environment, comprising 4 Vets, 4 RVNs, and 2 SVNs

• Interests outside of work are encouraged – current team enjoys baking, walking, crafting and exploring the Cornish coast
