Locum Veterinary Nurse, Blandford Forum, Dorset

We are recruiting on behalf of a reputable veterinary practice based in Blandford Forum, Dorset, seeking a Locum Veterinary Nurse for a fixed-term contract. This well-established practice is dedicated to delivering exceptional care to its patients and offers a supportive and professional environment where skills and initiative are highly valued.

Role Details:

• Full-time position working an 11-week rota

• Shifts include 2 weeknights and 2 split weekends with TOIL incorporated

• Responsible for maintaining high standards of patient care

• Opportunity to use skills and initiative on emergency cases

• Support the clinical team in a fast-paced environment

Candidate Requirements:

• RCVS registered

• Strong laboratory skills, including familiarity with diagnostic testing procedures

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills

• Compassionate attitude towards animals and their owners

• Ability to work well under pressure

• Strong organisational skills with attention to detail
