Permanent Veterinary Surgeon – Biggleswade, Cambridgeshire

Up to £70,000 DOE | No OOH | Part-Time with Flexibility | Certificate Support

We're seeking an experienced and passionate Veterinary Surgeon to join a friendly and supportive team in a modern, well-equipped practice in Biggleswade.

• Salary up to £70,000 (pro rata, DOE)

• Part-time role (Mondays 1 in 3 weekends)
  – Additional days available if desired

• No out-of-hours (OOH) or on-call

About the Practice:

• Purpose-built, air-conditioned facilities

• State-of-the-art equipment: digital x-ray, ultrasound, tonometry, K-laser

• Alternative therapies encouraged (e.g. acupuncture)

• Conveniently located near the A1, 40 mins from Cambridge, with easy access to London and Luton Airport

About You:

• Confident in GP medicine and surgery (including sole charge)

• Enjoys client interaction and building long-term relationships

• Keen to develop professionally – special interests welcomed

• Surgical or medical bias welcome (team split 50/50)

Join a close-knit, experienced team of 4 vets (including a CertAVP in Ophthalmology), 3 RVNs, 3 SVNs, and excellent support staff – all passionate about delivering high-quality care.

Must haves:

• RCVS Registered & Qualified or soon to be.
• Possess the right to work in the United Kingdom.
• Have excellent verbal / written communication skills
