Permanent Veterinary Nurse – Reading, Berkshire
We are recruiting on behalf of a small animal practice in Reading for a Permanent Veterinary Nurse to join their team.
The practice is looking for an empathetic and ambitious RVN who has good experience working in a small animal practice. The role will involve all aspects of nursing and you will be prepared to develop your skills by collaborating with the wider team. You will perform your nursing duties with confidence to provide the gold standard of care to the practice's loyal clients by assisting vets in surgical procedures. You must have excellent attention to detail and organisational skills. Your main duties will involve managing the day-to-day running of the practice, in-patient care, assisting in the operating theatre, and consulting. This practice has a high caseload of exotics, including snakes and parrots, so this role would suit someone who has an interest in exotics.
The role is full time for 40 hours per week, along with 1 in 4 weekends. There will be no OOH work or on-call duties.

Package:
- Salary: Up to £32,500 per annum, commensurate to experience
- Holidays: 5 weeks annual leave plus bank holidays

Must Haves
