We are recruiting on behalf of a well-established, multi-branch veterinary practice in the South West who are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Permanent Veterinary Surgeon to join their growing team. About the Practice:
Our client is a thriving veterinary group with a network of well-equipped branch surgeries, supported by a central hub. The team comprises 8 Veterinary Surgeons, a large and highly skilled team of nurses, and experienced support staff. The practice includes certificate holders in diagnostic imaging, vets undertaking further qualifications, and clinicians with special interests including advanced dentistry. They foster a supportive and collaborative working environment, with regular clinical meetings to share knowledge and maintain their high standards of care. Staff wellbeing and work-life balance are key priorities, with a family-like atmosphere and regular social events throughout the year.
What They're Looking For:
This is a full-time, permanent position suitable for a Veterinary Surgeon with a passion for clinical excellence and a strong focus on client care. The ideal candidate may be an experienced vet confident in sole charge and mentoring others, or a less experienced vet eager to develop within a nurturing and progressive environment. You'll be involved in all aspects of small animal veterinary work, including consultations, medical investigations, surgeries, and inpatient care. Clinical autonomy is encouraged, and support is readily available when needed.
Key Details:

Permanent, full-time role (must include Fridays)

4.5 day working week with participation in Saturday rota

Occasional out-of-hours for in-patient care

Based across their branch surgeries (exact locations negotiable)
Salary & Benefits Package:

Salary range: up to £60,000 (dependent on experience)

6.6 weeks paid holiday including bank holidays

£1,750 annual CPD allowance with CPD/training support

RCVS membership and two additional professional subscriptions paid
