Permanent Registered Veterinary Nurse – Thetford, Norfolk

We are recruiting on behalf of a well-established, client-focused veterinary practice located in Thetford, Norfolk, who are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Registered Veterinary Nurse (RVN) to join their friendly and supportive team.

About the Practice:

This modern and forward-thinking practice is home to a dedicated team of 3 experienced Veterinary Surgeons and 5 Registered Veterinary Nurses. The team typically operates with two vets performing procedures during the day alongside consultations, while a third vet focuses exclusively on consultations. Nurse consultations are an integral part of daily operations and include pet health club checks, second vaccinations, post-operative check-ups, and weight clinics. Facilities include two fully equipped operating theatres, a tub table, multiparameter monitors, and a Doppler system. The practice promotes high clinical standards, fosters a supportive work culture, and maintains regular clinical and branch meetings to ensure consistent communication and continuous improvement.

The Role:

• Permanent, full-time position (37.5 hours per week)

• Worked over 5 days, Monday to Friday

• One Saturday morning every 12 weeks at their branch practice (time off in lieu)

• One Saturday morning every 12 weeks at the Thetford branch (paid at an enhanced rate)

• Role based primarily at the Thetford branch

• Salary starting from £26,000 per annum
