Permanent Veterinary Nurse – Brixton, London

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Registered Veterinary Nurse to join our friendly and supportive team in a thriving general practice setting. This is an exciting opportunity for a nurse who enjoys forming lasting relationships with both clients and their pets, while contributing to the smooth daily running of a small, close-knit team.

You will be working alongside a sole-charge vet and a fantastic trainee nurse, helping to re-establish and nurture a loyal client base. The ideal candidate will take pride in delivering high-quality patient care and enjoy engaging with the community through nurse clinics and ongoing patient support.

About the Role

• Permanent position, flexible between 32–40 hours per week, tailored to your preference

• Includes a 1:4 branch Saturday rota and 1:10 Sunday shift at a nearby 24-hour hospital

• One bank holiday shift per year

• No on-call responsibilities

• Clinical support available from a fully equipped 24-hour referral hospital for complex or OOH cases

• Opportunity to develop nurse clinics and grow within your role

What They're Looking For

• A qualified and RCVS-registered veterinary nurse

• Someone passionate about primary care and building client relationships

• A team player who enjoys mentoring and supporting colleagues, particularly student nurses

• Confident in all areas of nursing including consultations, theatre work, and inpatient care

What They Offer

• Salary: £34,000 to £37,000 FTE, depending on experience, with room for progression

• 6.6 weeks annual leave including bank holidays (pro rata for part-time)
