The Role
We're offering a fixed-term contract (with potential for a permanent position) in a supportive team environment where your skills will be recognised and used to their fullest.
Key Responsibilities Include:

In-patient care and monitoring

Anaesthesia and surgical support

Radiography and lab diagnostics

Nurse consults and client communication
Working Hours:

Monday to Friday, 08:30–16:00

No night shifts, no weekends, and no out-of-hours work

About the Clinic
The clinic is equipped with advanced diagnostic tools including digital X-ray, dental X-ray, ultrasound, endoscopy, in-house laboratory, and separate cat and dog wards. They are an ISFM Gold Standard Cat Friendly Clinic, with feline welfare deeply integrated into their daily practice.
You'll be joining a friendly and diverse team including veterinarians, a veterinary nurse, student nurse, physiotherapist, and full-time receptionist. Teamwork and mutual respect are central to their culture.
What's on Offer

Salary: From £31,000–£37,500 per year, based on experience

Up to 50,000 NOK extra per year (approx. £3,750) available for the right candidate based on experience and responsibilities

Relocation & Legal Requirements
Visa & Permits:

For UK and non-EU/EEA applicants, a Norwegian residence permit is required

Processing typically takes 1–3 months, and full assistance will be provided
Professional Registration:
-
Veterinary nurses must register with the Norwegian Food Safety Authority (Mattilsynet)
-
In most cases, authorisation from the Norwegian Directorate of Health is also required for those involved in clinical work

RCVS-registered Veterinary Nurse (or equivalent EU/EEA qualification)
