We are recruiting on behalf of a Practice in Ashford, Kent who require a Veterinary Nurse to join them on a 12 month fixed term contract.

Overview:

The Practice in Ashford is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic RCVS Registered Veterinary Nurse to join their friendly, small animal and exotics-focused team. This role offers an excellent opportunity for a nurse with small animal experience and a passion for exotic species care. This is a full time role with a shared weekend rota.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver outstanding patient and client care

• Support surgical procedures and manage pre- and post-operative processes

• Conduct nurse-led consultations and schedule 3 activities

• Monitor patients and manage inpatient care

• Handle admissions, discharges, and patient transfers

• Dispense and check medications

• Ensure compliance with clinical, operational, and regulatory standards

• Engage and coordinate with the team for efficient practice operations

What They're Looking For:

• RCVS Registered Veterinary Nurse

• Confident, proactive, and empathetic

• Experience in small animal practice; exotics experience highly desirable

• Comfortable working independently and within a team

• Flexible, adaptable, and ready to support wherever needed

• Strong communication and team collaboration skills
