Permanent Night Veterinary Surgeon – Storrington, West Sussex

We are recruiting a Permanent Night Veterinary Surgeon to join a state-of-the-art animal hospital in Storrington, West Sussex. The current vet team enjoy a part time rota of either 3 nights on and 7 nights off or 4 nights on and 7 nights off with shifts of 13 hours, but this is negotiable and can be discussed at the interview.
This is an independent practice offering a wide range of state-of-the-art facilities and equipment, along with a highly experienced team of vets and nurses with advanced certificate training.
They practice are looking for caring ECC vets to be part of their brand-new team within the hospital. As this is a new practice the rota can be discussed, and they value the importance of a work-life balance.
The practice is committed to delivering a high standard of clinical care and strongly believes in case continuity. They are dedicated to developing good working relationships with clients so that a precise treatment strategy can be moulded to each patient.
The role will provide veterinary emergency and critical care outside of the hospital hours. The vet will be working with a highly trained team who are passionate and committed to making this service available to patients at all hours of the day.
The practice offers state of the art facilities, including:
- Ultrasound
- Endoscopy
- Separate dog and cat wards
- High dependency care facilities for critical care patients
- Operating theatre
- X-ray
- In-house laboratory and dispensary
- Isolation ward
- Triage room

About you:
- You will always deliver a high standard of clinical care
- You will have excellent customer facing skills
- You will work well within the team alongside other veterinary specialists and clinicians
- You will be passionate and dedicated to ECC work
- You will be a passionate and motivated veterinary surgeon with a genuine interest for animal welfare
- For experienced Vets you will offer mentoring and coaching where required and share best practice
- You will be ambitious to develop your clinical skill set and knowledge
- You will enjoy working within a busy practice with a wide variety of cases
Package:
- Salary: £60,000 to £72,000 pro rata, commensurate to experience

Must haves:
