Permanent Veterinary Surgeon – Pontefract, West Yorkshire

We are recruiting for a Permanent Veterinary Surgeon to join a practice in Pontefract, West Yorkshire. This role is full or part time for 3 or 4 days per week, along with 1 in 4 weekends. There will be no OOH work or on-call duties.

Key details:

• Type: Small animal
• Hours: Full or part time, 3 or 4 days per week
• Weekends: 1 in 4 weekends

• Team: Senior vet, experienced RVNs and support team

The role:

• The practice is first opinion small animal hospital with a mixture of consultations and surgeries. They are able to offer a varied caseload that will support clinical development.
• The Vet will be responsible for communicating with clients with regards to updates on their pets health.
• The role offers ongoing development benefits with support and funding available for certificates.
• The Vet will be responsible for providing a high level of Veterinary Care to patients.

About you:

• You will be a qualified veterinary surgeon with a desire to work with a forward-thinking veterinary practice
• You must have a real passion for the industry and strive to provide the highest standards of care. Excellent customer service skills are also essential
• The practice can accept applications from various levels of experience
• The vet will be a team player with excellent communications skills and be able to establish good working relationships with both clients and the fellow colleagues

• Salary: Starting at £45,000 pro rata, commensurate to experience
