Permanent Night Veterinary Surgeon – Bridgwater, Somerset

We are looking for a Permanent Night Veterinary Surgeon to join a small animal hospital in Bridgwater, Somerset. This role is part time for 5 nights on and 9 nights off with shifts from 7pm to 8:30am. There will be no on-call duties.

About them:

The practice has built a new dedicated emergency clinic providing emergency and OOH services for veterinary practices in the Somerset region. It is being established to provide a long term high quality solution for local practices for the provision of OOH services. You will provide emergency and OOH services to member local veterinary practices for nights, weekends and bank holidays.

About you:

• Passion for emergency and OOH clinical work
• Strong ECC clinical skills, knowledge and experience
• ECC qualifications
• Strong organisation and planning skills and experience
• Strong team management skills and experience
• Strong communication skills

Package:

• Salary: Up to £70,000 pro rata, commensurate to experience
• Holiday: 6.6 weeks annual leave, including bank holidays pro rata
• CPD: Generous allowance
• Memberships: RCVS and VDS fees paid
• Employer pension contribution
• Cycle to work scheme

Must haves:

• RCVS registered and qualified or soon to be
• Possess the right to work in the United Kingdom
• Have excellent verbal and written communication skills
