Permanent Veterinary Surgeon – Bridgwater, Somerset

We are looking for a Permanent Veterinary Surgeon to join a small animal hospital in Bridgwater, Somerset. This role is full time for 4 days per week, along with 1 in 6 half weekends and 1 in 6 full weekends. Part time hours can be considered. There will be no OOH work or on-call duties.

• Team: Large team of vets and nurses of all experience levels

About you:

• Passion for emergency and OOH clinical work
• Strong ECC clinical skills, knowledge and experience
• ECC qualifications
• Strong organisation and planning skills and experience
• Strong team management skills and experience
• Strong communication skills

Package:

• Salary: Up to £52,000 per annum, commensurate to experience
• Holiday: 6.6 weeks annual leave, including bank holidays
• CPD: Generous allowance of £1,750
• Memberships: RCVS and VDS fees paid
• Employer pension contribution
• Cycle to work scheme

Must haves:

• RCVS registered and qualified or soon to be
• Possess the right to work in the United Kingdom
• Have excellent verbal and written communication skills
