We are recruiting for a Permanent Veterinary Surgeon to join a practice in Hove, East Sussex. This role is full or part time, along with weekends on a rota with time off in lieu. There will be no OOH work or on-call duties.
This is an established purpose-built practice with a large loyal client base. They offer a variety of first opinion veterinary services and offers second opinion referrals. They see a variety of cases including some exotics. The practice is bright and spacious and has state of the art facilities and equipment.
About the role
The practice is looking for an experienced veterinary surgeon who is confident in routine surgeries and consultations. They must have excellent customer service and communication skills and able to work closely with others within a team. The vet will be joining a team of 2 vets, 3 nurses and support team, all of whom are committed to providing a high standard of clinical care. The vet will have a friendly and approachable manner and be flexible, enthusiastic and have a genuine passion for animal welfare.

About you:
- You must have a strong work ethic and provide an excellent high standard of clinical service
- You will be confident in all areas of routine surgeries and medical cases
- You will want to contribute to the practice enabling them to stay at the forefront of clinical thinking whilst also maintaining the ethos of providing a high standard of clinical care to all pets
- You will have excellent interpersonal and communication skills and the ability to develop a great rapport with both clients and staff
- You will be a strong team player

Package:
- Salary: £50,000 to £70,000 pro rata, commensurate to experience
